we got the best parking spot at the beach (minus the neighboring spider web), surfed, read, ate, saw the afternoon showing of kung foo panda at the imax, watched fireworks at the local high school, ate a hot dog, homemade potato salad, corn on the cob and sour cream and onion lays. g also had the best idea to pack a thermos of hot chocolate to sip on as we watched fireworks. can you say perfection? then back at home we lite some of our own fireworks and stink bombs on the street and ended with playing crack the egg on the tramp.
I slept like a baby that night.

That does have all the elements of a perfect fourth of july. You guys are so freakin cute...
matt...I always miss utah on the 4th. there are just not enough parades and fireworks in CA.
